The "Success" Trap: Why Revenue Wasn't enough

I built the $20M teams. I hit #1 on the leaderboards. But I realized that winning in business means nothing if you are losing in life.

Here’s my story…

The Metric Trap

For years, I measured my worth by the leaderboard. I was the #1 sales rep at a company of 100+. I led teams to $20M+ in revenue. On paper, I was the "Everyday Sales Leader."

But behind the scenes, I was drifting. I was working harder to chase a number that never felt like enough. The stress was high, the time with my family was low, and I was dangerously close to burnout.

"The reason I got into this work was because I used to struggle myself with the frustration of not feeling like a leader and not being confident in my ability to sell."

The Pivot

The turning point wasn't a business strategy—it was a life strategy. I realized that my business stagnation was just a mirror of my personal stagnation. I stopped trying to "hack" my sales process and started rebuilding my operating system.

I invested in myself. I lost 100 lbs. I re-anchored my faith. I became present with my family.

The Result

The irony? When I stopped obsessing over the metrics and started leading myself, the metrics exploded. My teams performed better. My income grew. My impact scaled.

Now, as the Co-Founder of Rise Up Men, I don't just teach people how to sell. I teach men how to lead. Because when you lead yourself, the sales, the culture, and the legacy take care of themselves.

"When I discovered a way to start leading and selling with confidence,

I was inspired to help others do the same."

I believe that "Sales is Life." You can't separate who you are from how you perform. My mission is to help you build a life that is so strong, your business has no choice but to grow.
